The 2008-2009 season has been a good stepping stone for the team.  The members of the team were newly formed in October 2008; it took a few weeks for the team to start working as a Unit.  Race by race the results got better and better and more consistent, culminating in qualifying for the 2009 World Championships.

In the 2006-2007 season John was part of the 4-man team who came 9th in the 2007 World Championships

In the 2007-2008 season both John and Jamie were the 2008 British Champions in both the 2 and 4-man events.  In the 2008 World Championships John, Jamie and Henry all competed for Great Britain.

The 2008-2009 season saw the team’s best result on the Europa Cup in the last race of the season.  A Bronze in Cesana, Italy only .05 from a win, in bobsleigh the top 6 get medals due to the sport being split by hundredths of a second.

Out of the 16 races in both 2 and 4-man, the team were on the podium 6 times.

The team also gained enough points to helping Great Britain qualify 2 male sleds for the World Cup circuit.

With pre season training already underway, the members of the team will be training hard to make sure the are selected for the GB team in September 09.  With the Olympics less than 10months away we all need to raise our game.
